Sat 13 April: Ver/Colne Confluence Walk:

A guided walk with Melanie Woods and Cathy Walker

Join a 6km walk on the lower River Ver and explore the Ver/Colne Confluence, floodplain, Munden Estate and surrounding countryside. Take in nature, fords, old woodland, hedgerows, views of the rivers and a little bit of history. It’s mainly on tracks which might be a little muddy if it’s been raining – but were perfectly fine when we walked it last week! Cameras welcome as there will be a few stopping points for photography.

2-2.5 hours walking. Optional coffee at Moor Mill afterwards. Walking boots advised.
