Date change: March for Clean Water – Sun 3rd November

We’ll be there on Sunday 3rd November (it was on Sat 26th October) and we hope you’ll come too!

Our story is like too many chalk streams and rivers; 2600 hours of sewage discharged into the River Ver this year and inadequate measures for preventing a dry river in drought years.

Come and join us and many other organisations and campaigners from around the country – from Surfers Against Sewage and the Angling Trust to Feargal Sharkey and the WI. We all want to make sure we get the best commitment from the new government to clean our rivers, lakes and seas and not to leave them in the sorry state they are in now.

Save the Date. For more details of where to meet, what to bring and more, watch our social media posts and our website www.riverver.co.uk in the coming weeks. It’ll all start at St Albans City station as we head to London and Parliament Square.
