Join an easy c2-hour circular morning walk from Flamstead down to the fledgling River Ver, along the dry valley towards Trowley Bottom and back . 10.00am to 12noon

Our walk will feature veteran Oaks, tall Elders and prickly Holly as we explore this infamous damp corner of the Ver Valley. The chalk geology is never far away as we look for wildlife and discuss the prospects for the Ver’s return if over abstraction is reversed in the coming years.
